This yearly event is sponsored by the St. Francis Community Center in cooperation with the Jewish Community Center. The race begins at 10:30 in Holgate. The runners head north to Barnegat Light. You can watch at almost any point along the route. of course, the contestants are more spread out as you go further north. Traffic is stopped from crossing the Boulevard at times to allow for the runners.
