The Crystal Queen Paddle boat excursions to Atlantic City – LBI Views

The Crystal Queen was a Paddle Boat that offered excursions to Atlantic City. She operated out of the Black Whale docks in Beach Haven. Service stopped some time after 2010.

For a while the unusual profile of the Crystal Queen was a common site on the Intracoastal Waterway from Beach Haven to Atlantic City.  People could book cruises from Beach Haven to Atlantic city with on board entertainment. 

At some point, she lost her docking slip and disappeared from the area. 

The design mimicked a Southern river boat with a paddle wheel at the stern. Almost certainly, the paddle wheel was for show and was free wheeling with propulsion provided by conventional propellers
