The Hydrangea House.

104 Centre St, Beach Haven, NJ

This is one of the few Bed and Breakfast’s that will accept children. The Innkeepers are very friendly and accommodating.

The Inn has recently been renovated while keeping it’s Victorian era charm. The woodwork and original random width floors have been retained and refinished. We stayed in a second floor room closest to the street. Beach Haven has, and mercilessly enforces, a zero tolerance zone in the area. This means that even though we stayed in the middle of the high season, the room was exceptionally quiet. Our room had a private bath and a balcony with a view of the beach.

There is a large room on the third floor that we would like to try at some point.

If you go, they have an immaculate, heated in ground pool. You are only a block from the beach if you prefer the ocean.

Parking is a little tight in the area. If you are parked some distance from the inn, you can usually get a spot right outside early in the day (Before everyone starts parking to use the beach).
